FAQ:

Q: What is it?
A: A simple program to set the VESA (2.0) modes in
   unsupported video cards.

Q: Why did I write it?
A: I was tired of manually setting the VESA file by hand
during GeForce debugging, and tired of answering emails
of people not being able to get VESA modes to work
( and stuck in black and white modes) in the mean time.

Q: Will it be Open Source?
A: Nope. I spent the time and effort in figuring out how to write this
silly hack. I challenge someone to reverse engineer their own better
    replacement for it.

BeForce256 /GeForce256 Q&A Section:

Q: Is the BeForce256 driver done yet? I think you guys are full of it, and aren't doing
	a damn thing...yadda yadda yadda.

A: User answer:
No. It's not so simple, but work is being done on it. We're attacking this issue on
numerous fronts. The political battle between the two companies has gotten nowhere, so
we're reverse engineering drivers the hard way. It'll be a while. Stay tuned.

A: Developer answer:
If you feel you can do a better job at cranking out a GeForce driver without any
docs, step up to the plate and do it. The goal is to get the driver done by any means
    necessary.
