Objects toolbox. Objects are elements such as text frames, bitmap frames, shapes, and eventually movies and sounds.
Text frame. Use the text tool to add a text to your document. Click the tool, then drag a rectangle in the document (tablet) window.

This is the text frame, where you can enter your text. The frame size can be adjusted by dragging the bottom right corner. To move the frame, click any part of the border away from the top left and bottom right corners.

You can adjust the text font, size, and other properties by clicking the dog-earred corner ().
The properties window will appear.

Image frame. Use the bitmap tool to import bitmaps into your document. The bitmap tool creates a frame similar to a text frame. Click the dog-earred corner () and select the Image File option in the Image Properties window to select the bitmap. Or, enter a URL if the bitmap is available via the Internet.

Click and drag the bitmap to reposition it inside the frame. Click the frame to move and resize the frame.
